A day in the life of a Pre-Primary and Kindergarten Student

8:45 - 9:00 am Children arrive and are greeted by a teacher.
9:00 - 11:00 am The Great Montessori Work Period
The children choose their work from the Montessori materials available in the classroom. The children and the teachers come together for circle time during this period. One to two times per week the children are invited to the art studio by our art teacher.
A healthy snack of fruit or vegetables is provided by parents on a rotating basis.   Children often help prepare and serve the food.   Snack is put out and the children help themselves as desired throughout the morning.

Specialty Subjects
The children experience Music and Art History on a rotating basis during the week.
